The little impish nightmare was the first thing designed for this comic. With less than 1 hour per page, I wanted something I could draw fast. What I forgot to take in consider was that filling in black by hand takes time.

Terrornoctus was designed to go with the little nightmares. Only after making the first page – and starting to fill in all the black – I realized how much he looks like Dream of the Endless. The overall impression is completely different when there’s no black on him.
I made sure to give him a rather dark skin colour and a very non-black eye colour, to make him less Morpheus-like.
